Senior Mortgage Consultant
Wintrust Mortgage

Bradley Joseph Martin is a senior mortgage consultant with Wintrust Mortgage who brings 26 years of experience in the industry. Brad began his career as a real estate attorney at a large Chicago law firm for seven years. Desiring to move on from the “big-firm” atmosphere, he served as general counsel for a multi-state mortgage lender for more than three years before spending the following 15 years at a mortgage brokerage he started. He most recently spent more than eight years working with a national lender as a senior loan officer. Brad works with all sorts of buyers—including first-time, luxury, and second-home buyers as well as investors—and serves Chicago and its surrounding suburbs, as well as several other states.

His background as a real estate attorney and general counsel of a mortgage company, along with active participation in legislative work with the Illinois Association of Mortgage Brokers (IAMB), provides the required knowledge and experience to guide his clients through every step of the process. Brad prides himself on going the extra mile for his clients beyond the homebuying process, including helping to secure financial assistance for his clients as needed and when possible. He also specializes in renovation lending, helping to guide clients through the renovation loan process to help them create the customized homes of their dreams.

Active in his community, Brad is a member of the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce in southwestern Michigan. He has also been involved with several nonprofit organizations including the Giving Rocks Foundation, The Acorn Center for Performing Arts, Lurie Children’s Medical Research Board, and the Jewish Council for Youth Services. He achieved Chairman’s Elite status with loanDepot in 2020 and 2021, and has been ranked as a top originator in the Scotsman Guide.
