Before joining Wintrust Mortgage in 2019, Felipa moved up the ranks at BMO Financial Corporation over a span of 23 years. She rose to Director & Senior Human Resources Business Partner for several lines of business, including Retail Lending. She also led the creation of the loan originator training program and supported several business reorganizations, process changes and compensation plan redesigns.
Today, Felipa is motivated by the excellence of her Human Resources team and the genuine care for the development and well-being of employees exhibited by Wintrust leaders. To help the company deliver against its long-term growth strategy, Felipa leads with pragmatism, empathy and business knowledge. She thrives in the fast pace of Wintrust Mortgage and is well positioned to continue to make meaningful contributions for the organization.
Felipa developed her expertise through a combination of education and on-the-job experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Roosevelt University and is a member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
